Product description

The CURT RV towing starter kit is the ideal solution for maximizing comfort, control and safety when towing your small travel trailer or camper. The kit includes a RockerBall cushion hitch, trailer sway control mount and an Echo mobile brake controller, complete with wireless Bluetooth capabilities. This kit is ideal for towing with vehicles less than 5,000 pounds and trailers between 3,500 and 5,000 pounds. However, the included components are tested and rated up to 7,500 pounds. The kit is designed to fit 2-inch receiver hitches and 2-5/16-inch couplers. The RockerBall cushion hitch features ShockDrop technology that absorbs jerking and jarring at the coupling point to promote increased comfort, confidence and control while towing. RockerBall is also quieter and is virtually maintenance-free compared to other cushion hitch options. The included ball mount comes with the RockerBall pre-torqued in place, and it also features a welded tab to attach the included sway control unit. This CURT RV towing starter kit is made complete with an Echo mobile brake controller. Simply plug Echo into your vehicle-trailer 7-way RV blade connection. Then, using Bluetooth and a downloadable app, Echo provides control and monitoring of your trailer brakes through your smartphone (refer to your owner's manual for proper use).

FEATURES:

  • COMPLETE KIT. This RV towing starter kit includes everything you need for increased comfort and control when towing a small travel trailer (3,500 to 5,000 pounds recommended; 7,500 pounds max). It fits 2-inch receivers
  • BLUETOOTH BRAKE CONTROLLER. Echo is a Bluetooth-enabled brake controller device that wirelessly connects to your smartphone and allows you to control and monitor all trailer brake activity. It easily plugs into your 7-way RV blade socket
  • CUSHION HITCH. The RockerBall cushion hitch dynamically absorbs jerking and jarring from your trailer at the coupling point. The 2-5/16-inch ball easily bolts onto the included ball mount to provide increased comfort and enhanced control
  • SWAY CONTROL. The sway control is designed to attach to the included sway tab ball mount and counteract any lateral movement in your trailer, keeping your tow load straighter on the road and giving you more control over your vehicle
  • ANTI-RATTLE. To stop the ball mount from rattling in the receiver, this kit comes with an anti-rattle hitch pin that can be wrench-tightened for a secure connection
