Product description

CURT weld on trailer hitch receivers offer a high-capacity, ready-to-work towing solution for your full-size truck or SUV. They are ideal for large pickup trucks, dually trucks, diesel trucks, service vehicles, flatbeds, chassis cab trucks and much more. These weldable hitches are constructed from high-strength steel and come with a standard receiver tube to accept a ball mount shank, tow hook, winch mount or other heavy-duty accessories. This CURT weld on receiver hitch features a 2-1/2-inch receiver with a 9-inch drop. It fits frames up to 62 inches wide. The side plates ship unattached from the center section, allowing for a flexible, adjustable installation and a custom fit. No installation hardware required! This welded universal hitch is also rated as a class 5 hitch, being fully tested to SAE J684 specifications for a gross trailer weight capacity of up to 20,000 pounds (NOTE: To achieve 20K rating, side plates must be welded 42 inches wide or less). To protect this weld on receiver hitch from corrosion, it comes shielded with a co-cured finish of liquid A-coat and durable black powder coat.

  • INTEGRATED DROP. This weld-on tow hitch is ideal for large trucks and SUVs. It features a built-in drop of 9 inches to promote level towing of your truck and trailer
  • DEPENDABLE STRENGTH. This weld-on trailer hitch is rated for up to 20,000 lbs. gross trailer weight (limited to lowest-rated towing component) NOTE: Side plates must be welded 42 inches apart or less to achieve 20K rating
  • RUST, CHIP, UV-RESISTANT. This weld-on hitch receiver is protected with a dual-coat of rust-resistant liquid A-coat and highly durable black powder coat. The two finishes are co-cured for exceptional resistance to rust, chipping and UV damage
