CURT Pintle Ball Hitch Combos Offer Unique Features

CURT has the pintle ball hitch selection you need for towing heavy-duty, agricultural and industrial trailers. Our selection of pintle ball hitches offers unique features and technology and are built with the highest quality of materials and craftmanship.

A pintle ball hitch, also called a pintle hook combination, features a pintle hook as well as a standard 2-5/16" pintle ball that allows for versatile towing. It can be coupled to a lunette ring for pintle towing or a standard trailer coupler with the correct socket size. Trailer pintle hitches provide the benefit of towing with increased range of movement and are perfect for pulling a trailer on unpaved roads or uneven terrain. A pintle ball hitch also has the capability of towing extra heavy payloads — CURT pintle ball hitch combos have weight ratings as high as 16,000 lbs.

CURT pintle hook combinations also are available with SecureLatch™ technology, which allows you to quickly and easily mount a trailer. Its integrated striker plate helps to stop and center your tow vehicle, and the SecureLatch mechanism automatically engages the primary lock when you lower your trailer, making for a straightforward and safe towing experience.
