Product description

Cool. Calm. And Totally Monitored.

Monitoring the temperatures in your RV’s refrigerator and freezer just got a whole lot easier. The Lippert Temperature Sensor sends temperature notifications directly to your smartphone — no wires, no hassle. Compatible with Lippert’s OneControl® technology, this sensor relays your RV fridge and freezer temperatures to your phone allowing you to keep an eye on your RV’s appliances 24/7 while you’re camping. This is a great solution for RV owners looking to replace their fridge’s old or broken temperature monitor — or if you simply need to add one to your RV’s refrigerator. You can even monitor multiple spaces simultaneously!

Space Optimization & Effortless Installation

With a sleek, low-profile design and waterproof adhesive mounting feature, this sensor installs easily to the inside walls of your fridge or freezer. Unlike other RV temperature sensors, our design keeps the sensor up and away from food and spills, and allows you to mount it right by the door. If the door bounces open during transit or someone forgets to shut it, you’ll know right away. For installation, all you have to do is wirelessly activate your sensor using your Lippert OneControl app, and then mount it on the inside of your RV’s refrigerator. And just like that, you have real-time temperature updates and notifications, in the palm of your hand.

OneControl® Smart RV Technology

Enhance every adventure with more control, connectivity and comfort than ever before. Lippert OneControl smart RVing technology helps turn your RV into an intuitive, intelligently connected vehicle that can be monitored right from your smartphone or tablet. From monitoring tire pressure and controlling your slide-out to receiving real time notifications, our suite of smart RV products and technologies helps keep RV owners aware, alert and most importantly, safe on the open road.

LIPPERT RV TEMPERATURE SENSOR:

  • REAL-TIME TEMPS – If fridge or freezer temperatures exceed your preferences, the Lippert RV Temperature Sensor sends real-time notifications to your phone
  • SPACE-SAVING - This sensor optimizes space with a mounting feature that lets you install your sensor on the wall of your RV’s fridge or freezer
  • DIY INSTALLATION - Once connected to your OneControl® app, all you have to do is mount your sensor inside your RV’s refrigerator
  • SAFE FROM SPILLS - The waterproof adhesive mounting feature allows you to place your sensor high on the wall of your fridge or freezer, up and away from spills and food
  • ONECONTROL - Compatible with OneControl technology, you can easily monitor multiple sensors from your phone from 30-40 ft. away

Get the most from your Lippert Temperature Sensor with these helpful hints

Monitor Intelligently

By monitoring the rate of temperature change and time spent above the threshold, the sensor’s intelligent monitoring system avoids unnecessary alerts during normal use. For example, opening the door to get food often causes rapid but short-lived temperature spikes. To avoid telling you what you already know – that the door was opened – our sensor looks to see if temperature is returning to normal. If so, you may not get an alert. But, if you left the door open and temperature continues to rise, you’ll receive an alert. Alert thresholds are preset for typical RV refrigerators: 30°F - 46°F. Adjust thresholds anytime in the OneControl app and when in Bluetooth® (BT) range of the sensor.

Explore Range

You’ll receive alerts when your phone or tablet is in BT range of your sensor. BT range varies depending on obstructions, like refrigerator walls and RV frames. When installed in an RV’s refrigerator or freezer, range can be reduced to about 40 feet (12 meters). After pairing your sensor, walk away from your RV to explore your sensor’s BT range.

Expand Access

The OneControl app allows multiple people to pair to a single RV. If your RV is equipped to allow sensor pairing, a “Pair With RV” button will appear on the sensor’s homepage in the OneControl app. Follow the instructions and your sensor will be paired to the RV automatically. This makes the sensor visible to everyone who is paired to the RV with the OneControl app.

Extend Battery Life

To extend battery life, turn the sensor off when you don’t need it, like during the off-season. To turn it off, press and hold the button for 7 seconds. The light will start blinking, then turn on solid and then off. When the light turns off, the sensor is off. To turn it on, press and hold the button until the light turns on solid and then off (about 2 seconds). If the sensor was paired with OneControl, the app will recognize it when it returns to BT range.

Change Batteries

Users will be notified when the battery nears end-of-life. To change the battery, follow the instructions in the OneControl app. Look for the “Replace Battery” button. The sensor comes standard with a BR2450 battery, which is rated for refrigerators and freezers. If you need to replace the battery for an application above 0° F, like refrigerators, coolers and rooms, you can use a CR2450 battery. For applications like freezers, continue using BR2450 batteries. Please dispose of used batteries safely, like other electronic equipment.

Unpair and Dispose

If the sensor is lost or damaged beyond repair, open the OneControl app and look for the “Unpair” buttons on the sensor’s homepage. Unpair the device and dispose safely, like other electronic equipment. If you unpair a lost sensor and then find it, you can re-pair and use.

Chill and Grill

What good is a cold drink without a hot meal? Lippert also makes a Liquid Propane sensor, so you can keep track of your LP supply before you leave the house.
