From nightfall to sunrise, walking around your RV patio and up and down your entry steps can be dangerous. There could be camping furniture, equipment or children’s toys around your steps that you can’t see in the dark. With the Lippert motion-activated RV step light, you can light up your RV patio area with an amber LED glow that won’t disturb your sleeping neighbors. Plus, you can illuminate virtually any space around your RV with this light, from dark interior spaces to cargo storage areas. Made from heavy-duty injection molded plastic and IP65 rated for harsh weather, our RV LED step light is truly made for your outdoor lifestyle. 

Specifically Designed for RV Steps 

Our camper step light is designed with high strength magnets, so you can easily attach it to your RV steps, whether you have the Lippert Solid Step®, Kwikee®, Tread Lite®, Alumi-Tread Step® or a variety of other competitor brands. The integrated magnets also make it easy to remove the light from your steps in case you want to walk around your dark campsite or find your way to the campground restroom. If you don’t have a magnetic surface to attach the light to, no worries! Our RV step light comes with an adhesive-backed metal plate for attachment on non-magnetic surfaces. 

How It Works 

Once mounted to the bottom of your RV stairs, our step light can be turned on or off. When the power switch is in the ON position, the built-in light sensor will be able to detect the level of light in your environment and will not activate during the day, which helps extend the life of your step light batteries. The integrated motion sensor will trigger the light to turn on when it is dark and movement is detected in the surrounding area. This RV under step light will illuminate for 15 seconds, then shut off if no further activity is detected. When the power switch is in the OFF position, the RV step light will not activate, regardless of lighting conditions or movement.
