Coming out of your RV while your arms are occupied with groceries, gear or a tired child can be tricky. That's why we designed Screen Assist, a screen door cross bar that helps you get out of your rig with minimal effort, enhanced stability and maximum convenience. This easy-to-install bar provides a simple, safe way to open your RV screen door while protecting it from the wear and damage you can cause by forcing your screen door open. Screen Assist can be adjusted to fit RV screen door sizes ranging from 26" to 30" and works as a fixed push bar on screen doors with any handle style. When installed on Lippert screen doors with a lever-style handle, Screen Assist will also function as a lever handle push bar. This unique articulating feature allows you to open your screen door or unlatch it from your entry door with one simple push. 

Automatically Close Your RV Screen Door with Screen Shot 

Most RV screen doors don’t come with a retracting hinge, allowing your screen door to hang wide open if it is not shut properly. This invites unwanted pests inside your rig and makes your RV's climate control systems work in overdrive. Screen Shot solves these issues by ensuring your screen door closes by itself. Screen Shot's custom anchors were designed to fit snugly into your screen door's inner channels while a pair of anchor screws hold it in place. Its elastic webbing is installed directly into the door jamb. When the screen door is opened, the elastic webbing expands, then automatically pulls the door shut. 

How To Measure

To find the right size, simply measure the inside edges of your entryway doorframe and refer to the "Your Doorframe Measurement" column in the table below to identify the correct Screen Shot size to purchase.

*Your doorframe measurement must be within one of the 5 sizes listed in the "Your Doorframe Measurement" column to ensure correct fit. If your doorframe measurement falls outside of one of the listed measurements, the Screen Shot will not fit your screen door.
