Product description

The CURT TruTrack trailer-mounted weight distribution hitch is a leader in its class and an innovative approach to weight distribution. It uses a unique quick-connect coupler that allows you to couple and uncouple your tow vehicle without resetting the spring bars each and every time. Traditional WD hitch systems require the spring bars to be connected each time you tow and disconnected each time you uncouple to park your trailer. The TruTrack removes the hassle of resetting and adjusting the hitch each time you need to hitch your tow vehicle or park your trailer. The TruTrack utilizes the same valuable weight distribution technology that the TruTrack system provides, which distributes weight evenly across the coupling point by using spring bars that leverage the trailer tongue weight and spread it across all axles of the vehicle-trailer combination. The TruTrack also features heavy-duty, adjustable support brackets that hold the spring bars in place laterally and vertically, which are more dependable and effective than chain systems. Many weight distribution hitches are made to work with a sway control attachment, however, they do not include the WD attachment itself. The TruTrack system is designed with spring bars integrated into the hitch itself. The TruTrack system is also compatible with other CURT products that streamline your towing experience and reduce stress. Products such as the adjustable channel mount hitch with dual ball accessory. This hitch adjusts in height and provides extra leveling capability and is especially useful if towing multiple trailers with varying heights or your tow vehicle is tall or lifted.

FEATURES:

  • QUICK-CONNECT COUPLING — The unique design of this revolutionary trailer-mounted weight distribution hitch simply locks into place with a single pin. It alleviates the difficulty of using a traditional WD that must be aligned each time you hitch up
  • TRAILER-MOUNTED CONVENIENCE — Get the benefits of a weight distribution hitch that doesn't require attaching and detaching the spring bars each time you couple or uncouple the trailer. Simply hitch up and tow
  • ADVANCED LEVELING — The spring bars leverage the trailer weight and spread it across all axles of the vehicle-trailer combination and use heavy-duty, adjustable support brackets that hold the spring bars in place laterally and vertically
  • INTEGRATED SWAY CONTROL — The TruTrack system improves ride quality while promoting safety. The fixed support brackets resist trailer sway, keeping the trailer better aligned and improving ride comfort and control
  • HIGHLY CAPABLE — This weight distribution hitch is constructed with forged steel spring bars and a heavy-duty, fabricated head. It is rated up to 10,000 lbs. gross trailer weight, and it features a durable carbide powder coat finish
