Owning a 5th wheel is about freedom to explore — and responsibility to protect your investment. Road salt, ice-melt chemicals, and debris can accumulate on your trailer’s frame, especially after long hauls or seasonal travel, leading to accelerated corrosion if left unchecked. Regular frame wash downs are a simple but vital part of long-term ownership.
After winter trips, extended highway travel, or exposure to harsh conditions, take time to rinse the underside of your 5th wheel. Focus on areas where salt and grime collect to preserve structural strength and prolong the life of your coach.
