Tired of stretching to reach those steps or the ground below? Or, are your camper steps hard to operate after years of exposure to the elements? The Lippert Solid Step fixes those issues and then some.
Whether you own a newer or older RV, getting in and out of unstable, bouncy or road-worn camping steps can be an adventure on its own. Not to mentioning worrying about kids or older travelers navigating a rickety, lopsided stair climb every time they need to go in and out of the RV.
Solid Step helps to restore the peace of mind you should have when it comes to your entryway trailer stairs. With the added stability and safety, you and your loved ones can feel as confident going up and down your RV steps as you do with your stairs at home.
"This unit was easy to install and works great."
"Installation went well. The steps are great and do as advertised. The larger platform at the top makes it easier for entry with two large dogs trying to get into the 5th wheel or out."

An extra-large, 13” deep top step adds stability when entering and exiting your RV.

Adjustable foot pads help eliminate bounce and stabilize steps on uneven terrain.

Available in Double, Triple or Quad configurations.

Easily stores inside an RV entryway for protection against the elements.
Plain and simple, Solid Step folding steps for RVs makes getting in and out of your RV easier, safer and more convenient — plus, storing it and lowering it for use is a breeze. It’s also one of the only step assemblies on the market that offers optional add-on accessories like the Entry Assist Handrail and Lift Assist Kit.
Solid Step 4.0 builds on the proven stability of the original Solid Step with refinements that make setup faster, operation smoother, and entry support more capable overall. Both systems deliver ground-supported stability and a secure feel underfoot, but 4.0 introduces several usability and performance upgrades.

Solid Step 4.0 triples and quads include integrated lift assist, making raising and lowering easier. The double step doesn’t need lift assist because it’s already light and easy to lift.

Ratcheting legs with a secure catch pawl provide controlled adjustment, and feet retract more easily when closing for convenient storage.

A quick-release mechanism lets you open steps more quickly, while smoother motion improves overall setup and retraction.

4.0 steps offer a higher weight capacity and a more stable, no-bounce feel, giving confidence every time you enter or exit.
Two quick measurements are all you’ll have to take. Measure the height from the ground to your entry door threshold.
Measure inside edge to inside edge of your entry door frame — rounding up to the nearest even number. This will determine if you need the 26” or 30” Solid Step assembly.
Note: There must be 3/8" from the bottom of the entry and screen doors to the top of the threshold to allow room for the hinge plate. Without this clearance, the doors will not have sufficient room to close when the steps are extended.
