Cleaning & Fabric Care
The Solution: 1/4 Cup mild soap (e.g., Dawn) per 1 Gallon lukewarm water.
- Pre-rinse fabric with a hose.
- Apply solution with a soft brush.
- Soak: Allow to sit for 15 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly until no residue remains.
- Air dry only. Never retract wet fabric.
The Solution: 1 Cup Bleach + 1/4 Cup mild soap + 1 Gallon water.
- Apply to stained areas.
- Soak for 15 minutes.
- Rinse Twice: Ensure all bleach is removed to protect stitching.
- Protect landscaping from runoff.

Hardware & Motor System
Approved Lubricant: 100% Dry Silicone Spray only.
Do NOT Use: Oil, grease, or WD-40 (attracts dirt).
Lubrication Points:
- Arm Elbows (Central pivot point).
- Shoulder Brackets (Connection points).
- Roller Bushing (Idler end, opposite motor).
Outlet Check: Ensure the motor is plugged into a working 110V outlet. Check for tripped GFCI breakers if the motor is unresponsive.
Cord Inspection: Inspect the power cord seasonally for any wear, fraying, or damage. Replace immediately if damaged.
Weather Protection: Keep the cord connection point dry and sheltered from direct rain exposure where possible.
Warning: Improper adjustment can cause water pooling.
- Extend awning approx. 2 ft.
- Insert manual crank into the pitch loop on the shoulder bracket.
- Turn clockwise to raise, counter-clockwise to lower.
- Check level to ensure symmetry.

Troubleshooting
Probable Causes: Depleted battery, motor thermal protection (overheating), dead remote battery.
Action: Charge via USB-C, wait 20 mins for motor cool-down, or replace remote battery (CR2450).
Probable Causes: Physical obstruction, electronic limit error.
Action: Clear debris. If persistent, perform a Factory Reset (hold the pairing button for 14 seconds).
Probable Causes: Idler bushing friction, arm alignment.
Action: Apply Dry Silicone Spray to the idler bushing. If knocking continues, contact support for arm alignment.
Probable Causes: Sensitivity too high, mounting vibration.
Action: Adjust sensitivity in the AwnCommand App. Ensure sensor is securely mounted and level.
