In agriculture, construction and even military applications, pintle hitches are the trusted product of specialized towing. They are notorious for their high weight capacity and simple design. The basic pintle hitch is essentially a hook and loop, with the hook attached to the vehicle and the loop mounted on the trailer. Because of their simple design, pintle hitches are able to have thicker metal construction and more secure coupling. CURT has a wide variety of pintle hitches and pintle-style products to give you a complete solution for your heavy-duty towing needs. This adjustable coupler channel is designed to mount CURT lunette rings #48600, #48601 or #48660 or CURT channel-style couplers #25319, #25329, #25330 or #25328, allowing for easy height adjustment and trailer levelling. It features a formed, one-piece steel construction and boasts a gross trailer weight capacity of 12,000 lbs. (NOTE: Never exceed the lowest weight capacity of any towing component; i.e. the vehicle, hitch, trailer, etc). It offers five different height adjustment positions with an overall height of 11-3/4".

  • HEAVY-DUTY TOWING. This adjustable coupler channel helps provide a heavy-duty towing connection between your truck and trailer. It securely bolts onto your trailer and is commonly used for construction, agriculture and military applications
  • ADJUSTABLE INSTALL. For a flexible installation, this lunette ring or coupler mount has multiple holes for easy vertical adjustment of the coupling point. The 11-3/4-inch channel allows for 5 distinct height adjustment positions
  • VERSATILE FIT. This coupler channel features an inside width of 3 inches and 2-inch on-center bolt pattern to accept a CURT channel-style lunette ring or coupler (bolt kit #48620 sold separately)
  • TOUGH BUILD. This lunette ring / coupler channel mount is constructed from solid, one-piece, formed steel for superior strength
  • WELD-ON OPTION. This coupler channel comes with a raw steel finish to be easily welded into place and painted with the finish of your choice. It also features holes in the back for a bolt-on option (hardware not included)
